Our team

Our aim is to provide a friendly & professional service. We have a very experienced team of chartered physiotherapists, each with at least 10 years experience. We are able to offer specialised clinics for both adult and paediatric musculoskeletal conditions, vestibular problems and paediatric neurological and development conditions.

All our physiotherapists are governed by a strict code of conduct and ethics. They are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).

Vicky Baker

Practice Owner – MCSP HCPC AACP Chartered Physiotherapist

I qualified from the University of Hertfordshire in 2006 and pursued a career as a Physiotherapist within the NHS for 11 years. During this time, I gained experience in a number of specialities including Acute Neurology and Rehabilitation, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Respiratory and Musculoskeletal Outpatients.

I chose to specialise within Musculoskeletal Outpatients and now have more than 14 years of experience in this area. I thrive on the varied aspects of the speciality and management of both acute and chronic problems.

I joined Select Physio in 2014 and in 2017, left the NHS to pursue a flexible working career, allowing more time for my young family. Having trained in acupuncture in 2016, I now use it as an integral part of my practice and have a specialist interest in the management of headaches.

In July 2021 I purchased Select Physio and I’m proud to have a fabulous team that provides an outstanding professional service to all our patients.

In 2023 I have completed extensive training to become a certified Kids Back 2 Sport Practitioner. This has further enabled me to develop my musculoskeletal knowledge to specifically assess and treat active kids and get them safely back to sport and activity.

I’m a keen cyclist, enjoy yoga, gym-based exercise and just being outdoors! I have recently taken up running and in September 2023 completed my first 10k.

Natalie Burke

MCSP HCPC AACP Chartered Physiotherapist

I qualified in 2003 from Coventry University and since graduating I have worked in the NHS across a broad range of specialities including Trauma and Orthopaedics, Women’s health, Rheumatology, Hydrotherapy and Musculoskeletal Outpatients.

I have specialised in Musculoskeletal Outpatients since 2007 and have gained further specialist training in hand therapy, acupuncture, and the assessment and treatment of vestibular problems.  More recently I completed a course in the assessment and management of kids in sport ‘Active kids are not mini adults’ and I am now a ‘Kids Back To Sport’ practitioner.  This enables me to provide age appropriate care and advice that is evidenced based for children and adolescents with musculoskeletal problems.

I have always had a keen interest in muscle balance having previously completed kinetic control training.  I am APPI trained in Pilates and enjoy taking both 1:1 and group sessions.

I joined the team at Select Physio in 2018 and enjoy using the knowledge, skills and experience I have gained to assess and treat a wide variety of problems and conditions.

Outside of work I have an interest in a wide variety of sports and enjoy yoga, Pilates and a weekly Parkrun!
